Led by debutant Kunal Lal, Delhi's bowlers reduced the Railways to 200 for nine to bring their side back on track in their Elite Group 'A' Ranji Trophy match at New Delhi on Monday.

Kunal, son of Delhi coach Madan Lal, scalped three wickets, including those of openers Amit Pagnis and captain Sanjay Bangar, as Delhi, who were bowled out for 195 in their first innings earlier on the second day, took the fight to the opposition camp.

Medium pacer N S Negi took two wickets while Sanjay Gill, Sarandeep Singh and Abhishek Sharma claimed one each in overcast conditions at the Karnail Singh Stadium.

Railways had themselves to blame for the debacle as they slumped from a comfortable 109 for one to 200 for nine on their home ground as the opposition bowlers made amends for the failure of the batsmen.

Tejinder Pal Singh was the top-scorer for the home team with 47 runs, which included six boundaries. New captain Sanjay Bangar made 42 with the help of four boundaries and two sixes.

The two added 96 runs for the second wicket after Pagnis's early dismissal. But once Tejinder Pal was run out with the team's total on 113, wickets fell regularly though Yere Goud (36) later tried hard to stem the rot.

At stumps, which was drawn when Harvinder Singh was dismissed by Kunal in the 76th over, Zakir Hussain had not opened his account while Kulamani Parida was yet to join in.

Earlier, Delhi could add only one run to their overnight score before losing their last two wickets in the first few minutes of play.
