iPod, is today a name synonymous with music. Designed and marketed by Apple Inc and launched on October 23, 2001, iPods rule the hearts of gizmo and music lovers alike.
Sleek and fashionable, iPods dominate the digital media players' market. Apple said it sold 10.6 million iPod media players and 1.7 million iPhones in the quarter ending March 2008. The current product line-up, the impressive and attractive family of four includes the hard drive-based iPod classic, the touch screen iPod touch, which resembles the iPhone, iPod nano that plays video and iPod shuffle, the smallest of the ipod family without a screen.
