Judicial remand of former chairman of Satyam Computer Services Ramalinga Raju and Vadlamani Srinivas has been extended till January 31.
Srinivas Vadlamani, chief financial officer of Satyam, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody till January 23 by the 6th Metropolitan Magistrate on January 11.He was later shifted to the Chanchalguda central jail, where Ramalinga Raju and his younger brother Rama Raju were lodged since January 10.
On January 7, Ramalinga Raju resigned after confessing to a financial fraud worth Rs 7,800 crore (Rs 78 billion).
