Sohail Khan quizzed by EDSohail Khan, upcoming actor and younger brother of filmstar Salman Khan, was on Thursday summoned by sleuths of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with income tax raids at the Khans' residence in Bombay last year. Sohail, who arrived in a white landcruiser, dressed in pink and blue check shirt at the ED office, was grilled for over five hours at the ED's Nariman Point office in South Bombay. The actor, who emerged out of the office around 1830 hrs, was mobbed by waiting television crew and mediapersons. They pursued Sohail till he sat in his vehicle and drove off the premises without speaking to them. The ED had allegedly found certain disparity of income earned by the Khan brothers during shows held overseas. According to Salim Khan, noted scriptwriter and father of the actor, the sleuths of the ED had seized certain foreign exchange related papers during income tax raids at the house. Sohail has been interrogated in this connection, and adds "This is a routine interrogation. All those connected with G S Entertainment have been called for interrogation." Replying to a question regarding disparity of income earned from shows abroad, he said the amount negotiated before the shows were held was often more than what was really earned, because the final amount depended upon the total number of stars that finally turned up for the shows.
