In the name of warBharati Dubey Vinod Khanna's sons Rahul and Akshaye will be seen together for the first time in JP Dutta's next war epic LoC (Line of Control). Inspired by the Kargil war, Dutta will try to revive the martyrs again through reel heroes, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Nagarjuna, Saif Ali Khan, Sunil Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Manoj Bajpai, Karan Nath, Bikram Saluja, Armaan Kohli, Himanshu Malik, Ashutosh Rana, Amar Upadhyaya, Raj Babbar and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The star list doesn't end here. The only female lead finalised so far is Raveena Tandon. Raveena earlier worked with Dutta in Kshatriya. Says the actress, "The Duttas are like family. I am more than happy to be a part of the project." Dutta, who's been tightlipped about the project so far, says, "It is an inspiration from what happened during the Kargil war." Music director Anu Malik has been so busy recording the first song of the film with Alka Yagnik, that he didn't have the time for the media. "You will see my team of Javed and me recreating the magic of Border and Refugee in LoC," is all he says. Akshaye, who came with father Vinod Khanna, refused to talk about the film. So did Ajay Devgan. They disappeared from the sets before they could be reached. However, high on the success of Dil Chahta Hai, Saif Ali Khan appeared more than happy about being a part of the Dutta team. "I really don't know anything about the film. All I know is that I'm part of it!" Wife Bindiya Goswami, who has always been a pillar of support for JP is very excited about the project. "I am looking forward to the shooting, which starts at the end of this month. We intend to finish the film by June 2002," she smiles. A muhurat is incomplete without the Thackerays. So Udhav Thackeray graces the occasion, along with his wife. Lets hope the film is as grand as the muhurat.
