RJP announces 13 more candidatesThe Rashtriya Janata Party has released a second list of candidates with 13 more names for the Gujarat assembly election. This brings the number of its nominees to 35 in the 182-member assembly. The RJP has entered into a seat adjustment with the Congress for 148 assembly and 20 Lok Sabha seats. Gujarat has 26 Lok Sabha seats. State RJP chief Madhusudan Mistry said that Ramesh Patel (Kantawala) and Kiran Shah will contest from Maninagar and Khadia respectively. The other nominees are: Jorubha Chauhan (Mandal), Nathabhai Devji Patel (Himmatnagar), Rajendra Sinh Solanki (Chanasma), Aniruddha Sinh Jadeja (Bhuj), Kantibhai Nanabhai Patel (Patan), Parbat Bhai Patel (Vav), Awalben Jethabhai Parmar (Vadgam), Dr Anil Joshiyara (Bhilora), Hiraji Damor (Meghraj), Mansinh Chauhan (Balasinor) and Jashwantsinh Chauhan (Mehemadabad).
