Russia assures all help to resolve hijack crisisThe Russian foreign intelligence service has provided to India all information it has on the hijackers of Indian Airlines Airbus 300, the spokesperson for the service, Tatyana Samolis said. Diplomatic sources said that Moscow had promised all help to New Delhi to get the hostages aboard the plane freed during telephonic talks between the Indian and Russian foreign ministers on Sunday. They however pointed out that no concrete requests and promises were put forth. Samolis said Moscow sees the hijacking drama as part of the struggle against international terrorism and this is the primary task entrusted to her agency by the government. UNI
