CBI team returns from Dubai, with cluesThe Central Bureau of Investigation is close to filing a case in the hijacking of Indian Airlines' Kathmandu-New Delhi flight with about 190 people on board as 'vital' clues have been gathered by the agency in Dubai. A two-member CBI team comprising Special Director R N Sawani and Superintendent of Police M K Narayanan returned to New Delhi on Monday morning from Dubai with 'positive' results after completing its week-long inquiry. The plane was hijacked soon after it took off from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on December 24 last year and was taken to Kandahar in Afghanistan. CBI sources said, "We have conducted the probe in Dubai and will soon be filing a case in the CBI-special court in Patiala as the plane had first landed in Punjab." ALSO SEE
