Militants killed four members of a family, including two children, in Patrada village in Rajouri district on Wednesday night, official sources said on Thursday.
A group of militants entered the house of one Baisakhi Ram and opened fire on the family members, they said.
Besides Kiran Devi and Ruby Devi, in their thirties, four-year-old Muskan and two-year-old Mohit were killed in the firing, the sources said, adding the militants fled the scene.
Security forces have reached the spot and launched combing operations to nab the culprits.
