Jammu bandh called on Monday to protest massacre

Several organisations have given a call for a Jammu bandh on Monday to protest the killing of 27 persons in Qasim Nagar by militants on Saturday night.

Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) and the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) have appealed to the people to observe a 'complete and peaceful bandh' to express solidarity with the bereaved families.

Condemning the barbaric act, JJSF has demanded a probe into the incident.

BJP's state unit and the Jammu and Kashmir Samaj Sudhar Samiti have extended support to the bandh.
