No major impact on visa disbursal:
UK High Commission

Ruling out any 'major impact' on the visa services after the recall of UK nationals in the wake of Indo-Pak tension, British High Commission sources in Delhi on Tuesday said it was a 'temporary phase'.

They said the visa services in Chennai and Kolkata were working normally.

Dispelling apprehension in the minds of people applying for visas, the sources told PTI that 'the High Commission (in Delhi) is issuing on an average 450 visas on any given working day, which works out to 80 per cent of the visas issued earlier'.
