Pakistan test-fires Abdali missile

Despite strong international condemnation, Pakistan had on Saturday and Sunday test-fired two nuclear-capable missiles.

Tuesday's test coincided with Pakistan's fourth anniversary of its nuclear blasts at Chagai in Baluchistan province in response to the Pokhran explosions carried out by India.

In New Delhi, defence ministry spokesman P K Bandopadhyay was quoted as saying that India remained unimpressed by the latest missile test.

"The whole thing is being done because of domestic compulsions. We remain unimpressed," he said.
