Rehman, who met Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav in Delhi on Monday morning, said the government and political parties in Pakistan favoured a negotiated settlement.
He said his delegation was in India to explore peace and he was happy with the response and warmth of the people.
Rehman said he would carry the message of 'peace and friendship' back home.
