The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday questioned Bahujan Samajwadi Party chief Mayawati in connection with an alleged disproportionate assets case, which was filed two years ago.
Mayawati was questioned by sleuths of the Anti-Corruption unit of the agency at her official residence in New Delhi, CBI sources said.
CBI had filed two cases against the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister, including her alleged involvement in the Rs 175 crore Taj Heritage Corridor scam.
Mayawati was earlier quizzed by the agency in connection with the Taj scam last year.
