Software engineer detained in connection with Mumbai blasts

Central security agencies have detained a software engineer from a southern Indian city in connection with the Mumbai train blasts, sources said in Mumbai on Monday.

The agencies suspect the engineer had helped the perpetrators of the blasts to exchange e-mail among themselves, they said.
