The bail petitions of Venkatpati Raju and Srisailam, arrested in connection with the multi-crore rupee Satyam fraud case, were filed in a local court in Hyderabad on Monday.

Both were arrested, along with G Ramakrishna of the finance wing of Satyam, on April 5 and they are now in judicial remand.

The XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate posted the matter for hearing on April 15. Meanwhile, the judge posted both the CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) petitions for April 20.

The CBI sought the designated courts nod to subject Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju, his brother Rama Raju and ex-CFO Vadlamani Srinivas to the lie-detector test.

The ED wanted to examine and record the statements of the Raju brothers, Vadlamani Srinivas and former auditors of Price Waterhouse S Gopalakrishnan and Talluri Srinivas on alleged money laundering by them.
