Ganeshutsav: Special trains to Konkan, Goa

A Ganapati idolThe Konkan Railway will run special trains between suburban Bandra Terminus to Madgaon, Goa to clear the rush during the Ganeshutsav on August 21 and 29, a railway official said on Thursday.

Train No 0965 will leave Bandra terminus on August 21 and 28 at 2345 hours and reach Madgaon at 1545 hours on the next day, they said.

While Train No 0966 Madgaon-Andheri special train will run on August 22 and 29 and will leave Madgaon at 1845 hours and reach Andheri at 1010 hours next day, the official said.

The train will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagir, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim and Karmali, they said.

The train will have 20 coach, the official added.
