Private domestic air-carrier, Jet Airways on Monday said it has witnessed a 33 per cent increase in its domestic passenger traffic in November as compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, the airline's international passenger traffic also clocked a 19 per cent growth in its seat factor at 81.9 per cent in the same month, a company press release said.
The airline attributes the growth in passenger traffic to a slew of strategic restructuring measures. "The restructuring involved a series of route rationalisations, trimming of strategic costs, streamlining of processes, addition of new routes and an enhanced customer experience," Jet Airways' chief executive officer, Nikos Kordassis, said.
JetLite, the airline's wholly-owned subsidiary also witnessed an increase in its passenger traffic by 22 per cent and a seat factor of 76.7 per cent in November, the release said.
