To strengthen the bilateral economic ties between India and the US, industry chamber Assocham will take a 16-member business delegation to America on a four-day visit from June 15, which will focus on energy and technology among other areas.
The delegation, led by Assocham US-India Business Council chairman M M Bhagat, would meet a cross-section of the US corporates during the visit.
On a four-day visit from June 15 to June 18, the delegation would also explore business opportunities in specific areas like infrastructure and investments.
Besides, it would discuss measures to revive IT exports from India to the US.
The US is already the largest investor in India and the chamber has been receiving reports of greater interests of the US investors in the growing Indian economy, Assocham said.
