ASUS, inventor and innovator of PCT, has launched Eee PCT 1000HE, a laptop equipped with new Intel AtomT N 280.
Priced at Rs 26,000, Eee PCT 1000HE incorporates ASUS' own super hybrid engine battery conservation technology. The laptop has a battery life of 9.5 hours.
The 10-inch LED backlit Eee PC with a keyboard 92 per cent the size of a conventional desktop keyboard comes with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 160GB hard disk with an additional 10GB of Eee online storage.
"With our new offering of the Eee PC 1000HE, we have integrated the new Intel Atom N280 processor and have enabled an extended battery life which has made it easier for our users to embrace technology that is easy and exciting to use", said Albert Tung, managing director, ASUS India, at the launch.
The laptop is suitable for children and first-time Internet users.
