Top industrialists including Sunil Mittal, chairman, Bharti Airtel on Thursday called on Home Minister P Chidambaram.
Apart from Mittal, whose flagship company Bharti initiated talks for acquiring 49 per cent stake in South African telecom giant MTN, among those who met the Home Minister include ITC chairman Y C Deveshwar. Industrialist Anil Ambani had met the minister on Wednesday.
Sources said these were courtesy meetings after Chidambaram took charge of Home Ministry on Monday.
