Special trains for Armed Forces, women

As a mark of respect to the contribution of the Armed forces personnel in defending the borders of our country the Indian Railways will run special trains titled 'Janmabhoomi' between Ahmadabad and Udhampur every week linking Jodhpur, Phalodi, Lalgarh, Biradhwal, Pilibanga, Mahajan, Suratgarh, Hanumangarh, Bhatinda, Faridkot, Firozpur, Jalandher, Chakki bank, Samba, Bari Brahman, Jammu-Tawi and Udhampur.

Karmabhoomi' Special Trains for Common People

The Indian Railways will run following unreserved trains for common people under the banner Karmabhoomi Special during the next financial year.

1.Darbhanga-Mumbai Express (Weekly)

2.Guwahati-Mumbai (Weekly) via Howrah-Tatanagar-Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Nagpur

3.New Jallpaiguri-Amritsar (Weekly) via Katihar - Sitapur

Matribhoomi for women

The Railways will run special trains under the banner Matribhoomi Special for women during the next financial year. These 21 trains will be run in the major cities of Kolkata, Chennai, New Delhi and Mumbai.

In addition, the following Matribhoomi specials will be run in the suburban sections of the major metropolises:

1.Delhi - Panipat

2.Kolkata

a.Barasat - Sealdah

b.Krishnanagar - Sealdah

3.Falaknuma - Lingampalli

4.Mumbai

a.Thane - Vashi

b.Panvel - Nerul - Thane
