Agnello Alphonso, who works in Mumbai with Tata Communications, is very disappointed with the just-announced Budget.

He says the new government had been given a mandate, and was expected to do something major for the so-called 'aam aadmi' (common man).

While he won't assign a numerical rating for the Budget, he does admit, "The overall Budget is not good. As a common man, I'm not happy."

His main complaint is that the current income tax exemption limit of Rs 1.5 lakhs (Rs 150,000) has only been raised by Rs 10,000 to Rs 1.6 lakhs (Rs 160,000). He says the number should be Rs 2 lakhs (Rs 200,000).
