Now, pay toll to use Bandra-Worli Sea Link

The Bandra-Worli Sea Link, which was opened to the public on July 1, had been kept free of toll for the first few days. But, from Monday onwards, the toll charges will be Rs 50 one way to use the bridge.

Thousands had lined up in the first few days to try out the new landmark, bringing traffic to a virtual standstill.

But now that the toll tax is in place, traffic police hope the movement of vehicles will get smoother.
