India's BPO sector has shown remarkable resilience in the face of adverse economic conditions.

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom) on Wednesday released the names of the biggest employers in the Indian IT-BPO services sector.

India's IT-BPO dustry directly employs nearly 2.2 million (22 lakh) professionals.

The IT sector's highest industry body also named the nation's top BPO companies and the top IT services firms in India.

Based on publicly available information, few other MNC's such as Accenture and IBM would have also featured in this list.
