Government to infuse $1.1 billion into Air India

Indian aviation minister Praful Patel on Wednesday said that the government would infuse 1.1 billion dollars in the national carrier, Air India.

Air India has been struggling after it posted an $875 million loss in the fiscal year ended March and sought a government bailout.
