India eyes gas, oil fields in Tajikistan and Russia

Oil and gas deals are high on the agenda as President Pratibha Devisingh Patil began a weeklong visit to Russia and Tajikistan on Wednesday.

She will hold talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, chairman of the Federation Council and the Speaker of the Duma.
