After the big news of Honda planning to introduce diesel engines in the market in the coming few years there is another big update from the Honda stable.
The Honda small car model showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo 2010 is rumoured to have been named Honda Brio.
The model was initially codenamed CV2. The name Brio means both 'the funny car' and 'small'.
The car is likely to have a 1.2L petrol engine and would be competitively priced.
The car is likely to offer premium luxury and is expected to go on sale around March 2011.

Honda's concept of 'man maximum, machine minimum' are clearly evident in the new small car.
According to sources Honda has decided to price the small car around Rs 500,000 to be able to compete with the likes of Sokda Fabia, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai i20.
This will be the cheapest Honda anywhere in the world and the cost of owning it would also be reduced greatly.
