Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

The upcoming festive season is going to be a boon period for most carmakers that have so far seen a great surge in demand for new cars taking the industry growth to 33 per cent in August.

Many new car launches, offers and discounts await consumers this season. Among the various cars scheduled to be launched here is a list of five sedans that have been quite eagerly awaited.

1. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

For a long time Mitsubishi India had not been doing much to capture the lucrative Indian auto market. But with Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, the company is all set to change the game.

Evo X would be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and so it is expected to be expensive. It would come with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine capable of producing 300bhp and accelerating from 0-100 kph in five seconds.

The Evo X is a fantasy sports car and many Indian customers have waited very long for this one to reach the Indian market.
