Apple said the battery life depends on device settings, usage and other factors.

The 4G LTE is supported only on AT&T and Verizon networks in the US and on Bell, Rogers and Telus networks in Canada.

The new iPad is, however, not compatible with the 4G LTE network currently available in India and customers will have to make do with the 3G networks.

iPad 2, however, is available at a more affordable price starting at just Rs 24,500 inc. VAT, (Rs 23,333 ex VAT) for the 16 GB Wi-Fi model, and just Rs 32,900 inc. VAT, (Rs 31,333 ex VAT) for the 16 GB Wi-Fi + 3G model.
