Force One LX
The week started off with Force One. Force the commercial auto manufacturer in India commenced the deliveries of LX variant of its SUV, One.
The vehicle was recently launched at the price tag of Rs 13.98 lakh. Other variants in the line-up are EX and SX.
The LX variant is the top end and the only 4WD variant in the entire portfolio.

Force One LX
Power comes from a Mercedes-Benz sourced 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine pumping out 139bhp and 321Nm of peak torque paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
It comes with ABS with EBD, 2-DIN stereo system with Bluetooth, leather upholstery, alloy wheels, etc.
The SUV currently competes with Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari Storme in the segment.

Mahindra XUV500 Limited Edition - 'Sportz'
Mahindra & Mahindra also launched the limited 'Sportz' version of XUV500 at a price of Rs 13.68 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The car gets bunch of exterior and interior upgrades. It gets 'Sportz' body decals with red inserts on fog lamps, door handles and roof rails with a striking set of 5-spoke 17 inch alloy wheels.

Mahindra XUV500 Limited Edition - 'Sportz'
Interiors come with all amenities plus refurbished leather upholstery, steering mounted audio controls, 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS, USB, iPod connectivity options and auto climate control with dual HVAC.
Mechanically, the muscular SUV shares the same 2.2-litre mHawk engine which develops 140bhp and 330Nm of torque. However, company will manufacture only 1000 units of such vehicles.

General Motors has launched a limited edition version of Chevrolet Spark in India priced between Rs 3.44 to 3.99 lakh (ex. Showroom, New Delhi).
The small hatch gets minor updates inside-out. The exteriors receive full-wheel cover, side body graphics, chrome treatment on ORVMs (side blinkers) and seven colour choices.

BMW reveals second generation X6
The 'Sports Activity Coupe' from BMW is all set to enter into next generation. After lots of chitchats and spyshots on the interweb, the car was finally unveiled by the company.
BMW X6 gets updated right from the nose to the tail. The exteriors are now more robust with dual-kidney grille and bi-xenon with optional adaptive LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels and L-styled tail lights.
The car now comes with 9 metallic and 2 non-metallic paints.

BMW reveals second generation X6
Interiors gets refreshed with premium quality finishing, AC with two-zone climate control, navigation system, Bang and Olufsen surround sound system, entertainment system for rear passengers, BMW Connected Drive features, etc.
The car will be available in two V6 diesel and a V8 petrol engine trims. The diesel engines will come in xDrive30d and xDrive50d configurations developing 258hp and 381hp respectively while the petrol V8 engine in xDrive50i will produce 450hp of power.
BMW X6 will launch in December 2014 in US and will soon head towards India.

The new variant rushes to 100kmph mark from standstill in 6.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250kmph.
Besides this, the car comes with the same rich styling and premium interiors. The diesel S-Class will be locally produced like other siblings at the Chakan plant in Pune.
