Myskina signs up for Kolkata event

Former Roland Garros champion Anastasia Myskina has signed up for next month's inaugural $170,000 WTA event in Kolkata, organisers said on Monday.

Anastasia Myskina The 2004 French Open champion, ranked 12th in the world, is expected to be the biggest draw in the tier III indoor competition alongside popular Indian teenager Sania Mirza.

The Kolkata event will take place from September 19 to 25.
