I am not saying this because he is dead, i always had this view, it takes great guts to accept your mistake and that also in front of the whole world, and Mr. Cronjie had that guts. Message: Hansie took South African cricket to great heights because of his captaincy. He captained the South Africa at the time when they were just returned to international cricket after apartheid. Under his captaincy, South Africans taught world first lessons of Professionalism in Cricket. They were a marvellous team under him, excellent in every departmnet of the game. He did sinned by accepting bribes but who doesn't in this world. Not everybody has such an courage to accept oneselves sin. People had lot of expectations from him and treated him as an ideal cricketer, but still he was not god.
