Zimbabwe skipper Streak hurt in road accident

Zimbabwe captain Heath Streak was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury suffered in a road accident on Monday, a team official said.

"He seems to have dislocated or stretched his shoulder and collar bone, but it is not a major injury," the team's laision officer said.

The Zimbabwe fast bowler was travelling in a three-wheeler taxi in Colombo when the vehicle overturned trying to avoid a car, he said.

Streak, whose team have been taking part in the Champions Trophy, will stay overnight in hospital, the official added.

The Zimbabwe players have been waiting to return home after being eliminated from the 12-team event following defeats against both pool B rivals India and England.
