Lanka requested India for help: JaswantTara Shankar Sahay in New Delhi External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh today said India had received 'some request' from the Sri Lankan government regarding the present situation and which was being considered by the Government of India. Yesterday evening, in his address to the media, Singh had declared that Sri Lanka had not sought any assistance, military or humanitarian so far.
