An American student of the Vishwa Bharati University, Shantiniketan, has accused a medical officer of the university's hospital of molesting her.
Amber Filt, a student of the Sangeet Bhavan, has lodged a complaint with the police and authorities of the university located in West Bengal.
Filt alleged that the incident occurred when she went to the medical officer on July 4 for a medical certificate.
The vice-chancellor has set up a committee to investigate the matter.
Filt had lodged a complaint with the police on August 22, sources said.
