Senior Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader M K Azhagiri and 12 others were on Friday chargesheeted in connection with the murder of former DMK minister T Kiruttinan on May 20.
Azhagiri, who was on conditional bail at Bangalore, had come to the court followed by scores of lawyers and party followers and received the 358-page charge-sheet, which quoted as many as 95 records and 114 witnesses.
Azhagiri, son of DMK chief M Karunanidhi, is the first accused in the case.
The others who received the charge-sheet included P M Mannan, Mubarak Manthiri, S R Gopi, Karathe Shiva, Karthikeyan Uthalpandi, Raja,Ibrahim Sait, Paw Mani, Easwaran, Balaguru and Seeni.
The case has been posted for further hearing on October 15.
Azhagiri was arrested on May 21, a day after the murder, and was lodged in the Tiruchi prison. Later the high court granted him bail with the condition to stay at Bangalore.
