The Special Investigation Team on Friday night arrested two more police officials, including an Assistant Commissioner of Police of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, besides a stamps department official and a stamps vendor in connection with the multicrore fake stamp scam, SIT sources said.
The arrested have been identified as ACP Mohammad Javed and Sub-Inspector Kamble of MRA Marg Police Station, the sources said.
The supervisor in the stamps department and a stamp vendor, who have been arrested, could not be identified. All four will be produced in the court on Saturday, sources added.
