Lok Janshakti Party Saturday said it would go it alone in the May 8 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls and contest from about 100 constituencies.
Announcing the decision, LJP's national convenor M Karuppaiah Bharathi told reporters in Chennai the party would "certainly make an impact in the polls".
He expressed hope that his party would be able to secure "sizeable number" of votes in all the constituencies from where it was contesting.
LJP's whip and president of All India Dalit Sena Ramachandra Paswan will arrive in Chennai to identify the constituencies and party candidates, he added.
