Private sector lender ICICI Bank on Friday reported a 21.8 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1,395 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2010.
The bank had a net profit of Rs 1,145 crore (Rs 11.45 billion) in the same quarter last fiscal, ICICI said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The total income of the bank decreased to Rs 14,464.55 crore (Rs 144.64 billion) during the quarter, from Rs 14,595.85 crore (Rs 145.95 billion) in the same period last fiscal, the bank said. The shares of ICICI bank were trading 3.82 per cent up at Rs 1,132 on the BSE.
