Maruti Suzuki will showcase 17 vehicles at the forthcoming Auto Expo in January 2010. With the theme, 'Joys of Life' Maruti Suzuki aims to highlight its position as a 'people's carmarker'.
The company says it has been a reason for 'Joy' for millions of middle-class Indian homes in the last 26 years.
The Maruti pavilion will also showcase a clay model of the A-star. The 3-D scale model is a semi-finished sculpt in clay, which highlights the detailing that goes into the making a car. The clay modelers will be seen chiseling away on the clay model, working on the detailing of the car.

The Suzuki Kizashi is set to make its India debut at the forthcoming Auto Expo. The Kizashi is Suzuki Motor Corporation's flagship model in the D-segment.
Kizashi is the sixth world strategic model from the Suzuki stable. Kizashi in Japanese means 'a sign of great things to come'.
The Suzuki Kizashi has been exclusively imported for the event. Kizashi is powered by a 2.4-litre VVT petrol engine equipped with continuously variable transmission or six-speed manual transmission. The engine delivers a huge peak output of 131kw @ 6,500rpm.

Maruti Suzuki plans to showcase a hatchback version of its popular SX4 at Auto Expo 2010. The Prussian Blue Pearl SX4 hatchback is a 2.0 litre machine that has been imported for display at India's biggest auto show.
The SX4 hatchback, is one of the most popular hatchbacks in European markets. In Europe the SX4 hatchback is available in multiple engine options that include a 2.0 litre, a 1.6 litre and an 1.5 litre petrol engines.
The powerful J20B engine on the SX4 hatchback on display raises the maximum torque to 190Nm/4,000rpm while enhancing environmental compatibility by cutting carbon dioxide emissions.
