The Indian luxury car buyer will have lot of options to choose from in the coming year. Almost every big brand is entering the country and wants a piece of the lucrative market.

The latest in the category is luxury sports car maker Porsche. The car maker has made public its keen interest to enhance its portfolio in the Indian market.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is designed to be a notch above the 911 Turbo model. It is claimed to provide lots of power, good performance and great driving dynamics.

The 911 Turbo S is what it is because of its six-cylinder boxer boosted by two exhaust gas turbochargers with variable turbine geometry, with an increase in power over the 911 Turbo with 530 bhp (390 kW). The car's 700 Nm maximum torque (516 lb-ft) is best in its class.

But with so much power and performance packed in the 911 Turbo S, it is expected to be priced at Rs 1.87 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and the approximately Rs 1.90 crore in the rest of the country.

While 911 Turbo S Cabriolet would cost almost Rs 2 crore (Rs 20 million) in Delhi and about Rs 2.04 crore (Rs 20.4 million) elsewhere in India.

The 911 Turbo S is a highly advanced machine with a seven-speed Porsche's Double-Clutch Gearbox conveying drive power to Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive.

The 911 Turbo S has the capacity to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 10.8 seconds and its top speed is 315 km/h or 195 mph.
