You have seen Amitabh Bachchan in all these roles in his films. In real life, he is much the same -- a simple, down-to-earth man who values his family. Here we see Amitabh's mother Teji, father Harivansh Rai Bachchan and wife Jaya.

When they were dating, apparently Jaya Bhaduri and Amitabh had a pact: if Prakash Mehra's Zanjeer (in which they worked together) clicked, they would holiday in London. The film was a huge success.

But Bachchan's parents insisted the couple get married first. So the two were married June 2, 1973, followed by an extended honeymoon in London.
