The world's largest gold coin worth $3.9 million will be auctioned at Vienna's Dorotheum on 25 June 2010.

The world's heaviest coin weighs 100 kilograms and has a diameter of 53 cm. It is made exclusively of the purest, finest and most refined gold: 999.99/1000 gold, according to Dorotheum.

The world record-breaking and rarest coin, which is listed in the current edition of the Guinness Book of Records, bears the image of Elizabeth II.

There are 5 maple leaf coins, one of which is owned by Queen Elizabeth II.

The back shows three maple leaves, the national symbol of Canada, where the coin was minted.

The Dorohteum, a leading auction house in central Europe has been holding historic coin auctions for more than 200 years.
