B Ramalinga Raju A special court trying the Satyam scam cases today directed the NIMS hospital in Hyderabad to file a fresh medical report regarding the health of former chairman of Satyam Computers B Ramalinga Raju, before it by June 7.

Raju, the prime accused in the multi-crore financial fraud in Satyam Computers, who is undergoing treatment for Hepatitis C at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, is not attending the court proceedings since September last year citing health reasons.

Magistrate BVLN Chakravarti said medical report about health condition of Ramalinga Raju was last received on April 17 and called for fresh medical report from NIMS director about Raju's health and adjourned the case to June 7.

The court also posted the matter to June 7, on CBI's plea for examining Raju, through video-conferencing in connection with the accounting fraud in Satyam Computer Services.

The premier investigating agency had sought the court's permission to establish video link with NIMS, to expedite the case, in view of Raju not appearing before the court.

The court wants to examine all the ten accused, including Raju, with regard to the allegations mentioned against them by the CBI in two separate chargesheets before commencing the trial.

The court, meanwhile, extended the judicial remand of all the accused till June 7.
